E-Tronik is immersed in music since his early childhood, first as a classical music keyboard player, then as a DJ and now a producer. E-Tronik is also known as a promoter for his ephemere parties in Strasbourg and also the Meex Festival.
Voltery, named after a Star wars spaceship, grew up in the East of France and found his passion for music in his childhood while entertaining himself with epic galactic stories. These influences reflect in his production and musical taste, focused on deep, atmospheric material and cutting edge rhythms. ‘Oniric Groove’, a track released on his label Motion Sequence that he runs in partnership with Medicis, reflects some of these astral influences. Back in 2015, Voltery released with his label partner the « Green Mill EP » on the widely respected « Lazare Hoche Records ». It strongly pushed him to develop and fine tune his production skills whilst carving out his vision of a diversified approach to dance music.
Raised in eastern France, Medicis was introduced to electronic music by his older sister as a youth, herself influenced by this proximity with the German border. Medicis decided to start producing and djing few years ago but everything really began when he released the ‘Green Mill Ep’ in collaboration with his friend Voltery on Lazare Hoche Records at the end of 2015. The ep was well received by the House music scene, so the pair started meeting producers around the globe and decided to launch their own imprint Motion Sequence a year later. They wanted this label to reflect all of their musical influences under a unique name, showcasing on it some of their new musical friendship they have begun to establish within the scene. This seemed an obvious step for Medicis, for whom music has always been a family affair. Already known for his open minded musical approach, he tries in his sets and his production to unify genres – allowing the groove and feeling of the music to define the musical experience.
